I really liked this book and would recommend this book. Great sexual storylines and great storyline. It would make a great movie or TV show. Would like to read or hear her sisters' fathers' stories and more about her and Flynn's story. His sister story with the officer or even better one of here sisters' fathers. I will listen to more of Erosa Knowles books. I liked the narrator, but wish she made Flynn's voice more strong like the Alpha male he really was.Product details

I enjoyed this story a lot, it held my attention and I didn't want to put it down until it was over. It had the right amount of drama I just wish it had more romance. I think the book would have been even better if it was a lot longer and more details was given instead of told to us or having us infer what happened. At times it felt as though I was missing something important and wished I wad able to experience certain scenes. It would have gave the story so much more life. More passion and a little more build up in the plot would have made the story near perfect. Overall I loved the story would recommend it to anyone looking for good intriguing story...
This story kept me so interested that I would hurry up with whatever I was doing to get back into it and then I stayed up late finishing the story. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a believable story with its' funny moments, a feisty female, smart ass hero who has met his match, a sick aunt who can talk smack, and of course the crazy woman. The sex scenes were hot and his broken heart was plausible.
Some ends were left hanging, such as where was Annie for those 2 hrs and will there be a sequel on Rachel exes...I mean her one night stands? I thought the ending was wrapped up too fast--first time i have read a HEA and the man wasn't in the last few pages--the author can correct this with a sequel--hint, hint.
I could not but this book down. I read it in 1 day, I read it at work, going to and from work and when I got home. I fell in love with karyn and Flynn. It was a good read, i was hooked from the first chapter. I have been a fan since the 3X series, which I am waiting on the next release in the series. Each of Erosa's books keep getting better and better. I highly recommend this book. I don't want to give to much again, but the wife is something else. When you think the book is going in one direction it ventures into a whole different place that works well and keeps in line with the story. Trust me you won't be able to put this book down. Bravo Erosa.
This was truly a great read I enjoyed very much. Karyn and Flynn were two characters that were both struggling with the promises they made to their loved ones. Karyn was entrusted with her little sisters because her ailing aunt could not take care of the little girls alone. Flynn made a promises to his deceased wife that he was having a hard time keeping. But when it came down to what he had to do he was following her instructions to the tee. Both struggled with some much throughout out the book that each page got better and better. I would say this is a book that was not based on anything but two people just trying to survive and in the end they did just that. This truly was a good read because both Flynn and Karyn grew and learned so many things that by the end it just left me smiling.
I enjoyed this story and was pleasantly surprised. I had been looking at this story in my wish list for quite some time and could not pull the trigger because of the description. I was looking at something to read so I took a chance.
Karyn's character was written as a strong young woman who would do whatever she had to do to protect her younger sisters and to make sure that they were taken care of. Flynn was written as an alpha male, but not one that was so domineering. He found her strong nature very attractive, thus making him attractive. If you round that off with some good secondary characters in Aunt Lanie and Elfreda and the story was very enjoyable.
I think Ms. Knowles did a great job in bringing this story together for an enjoyable read. For the cost you won't be disappointed.

I really like that this author took a risk on both the subject matter and the formula of her usual stories. I really got into the story line (at first I was a bit disturbed by the "breeder" terminology) and the characters. I became absolutely invested in Karyn and wanted her to succeed and get everything she wanted out of life for no other reason than I felt she deserved it. I liked her backbone and her integrity.
I needed more romance in this story. For too long, I was convinced that Cannon had no room in his heart to love any other than his ex-wife. I really started to enjoy the story more when the ice around his heart started to thaw. Something just seemed off to me about him and it just never same full circle to me.
The ending left me happy and sad all at the same time. I walked away from the story feeling slightly morose; I wanted the total HEA. That said, this story delivers an emotional punch and is well worth the read.
This book was one to remember!!! The story had a great plot and well put together, the characters flowed well. For this to have been her first book, it was an interesting great read. The money I paid for this story was well spent! It was a page turner as well as a must read!!! I can’t wait for the second part of this story. I hope Alton’s father get what is coming to him. It had love, hate, romance, and enough HOT STEAMY SEX in it…Buy the book you will not be disappointed!!! Delightfully mature, un-put-downable with OMG! Great moments of suspenseful brilliantly developed in so few pages. Fantastic, skillful writing to be able to pull me in from page one, fully develop the H/h characters and 3 other side characters with dramatics and theatrics, although never over the top, filled romance based plot. (Well that was a mouthful)
As always, be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle
